Kalem got a bike from Lita for Christmas. He LOVES it! Can't wait for his head to grow into this helmet though. He thinks it's cool because it's like Darth Vader. 
And so Pax gets the sweet Red-Racer all to himself now. Hand me downs are the best anyways. Yep, that's even coming from me, a #5 child.
So far, we have been out to ride almost EVERY single day in 2011 (minus maybe 6 rainy days). We love this time of year here, because even though it's chilly, it is sooooo GREEN and lush! We don't get tired of the bike trail by our house. It's a ritual to stop along the way to through rocks in the creek & puddles & duck pond. Pax has to gather them and save them in his hand along the way. We have observed that he is a mega 'Savor'. He always saves something in one hand and won't get rid of it, wether a rock or food, unless he has something to replace it. Often Pax gets bored of the trike and just wants to run free.
