3 months ago I felt graditude to FINDING NEMO. I was a great big tired pregnant mom and Kalem was enchanted by the fish dvd. I was grateful for a movie that he'd watch and give me a break to relax on the couch with my achy bones and big belly. Thinking ahead about Halloween, I purchased a costume on ebay.
His obsession grew over the last few months - and although we now have every word memorized, I have still been ever so glad to have something to distract him from my lack of energy and new-baby sleepiness and napping on the couch.
But now, I think it's time to say goodbye. Halloween is our last hoorah for the fish for awhile. Say farewell to this cute little orange fella. We're hiding the movie.

Let it be known that Eric & I have our annual arguement on Halloween regarding his costume. I always plan on making him dress up, but no matter how conservative, he fights it. Then he feels guilty and puts on something while walking out the door. So he's a random Spulunker? I was so sure he wouldn't mind wearing his Scuba gear and wet suit this year. Obviously I lost.

Here I am, keeping my promise to comment! So Nemo is on the way out, huh? The obsession movies do get REALLY old after awhile, so I can't blame you. Don't worry, he'll move on to a new movie obsession soon enough, and then you'll have to hide that one. You might be ready to get Nemo back out in about 5 years. :)
He was a very cute Nemo! I don't think I saw Paxton that night, but he was very cute too! I'm really glad this video didn't include Andrew losing his bottoms ;)

I love little Nemo! What a great costume. YOu and Eric look great. Oh the years ahead. Fun to be had for years to come.
