I gotta be honest. This was NOT my favorite summer. I am blaming it on the pregnancy detail. It just didn't help. But, alas, time is on my side now: the Summer is behind me, September is here and by next month I hope to close the book on this prenancy and say HELLO to a new Baby Adventure.
There are a few special moments that I will try to remember when I look back on Summer '09. Here are some of them:
Beach Time.
I still can't believe we live here. Ah, I love our little town by the ocean. They run a free daily summer shuttle to the beach so we didn't have to deal with parking meters or the crowds. Kalem sits in his seat looking out the window and repeats, "Bus! Bus!", until he sees the water and says, "Beach! Water!"
Of coarse that much beach means we bring home a lot of sand. We've emptied it all on the back balcony and Kalem gets more use out of it. 
Friends.We've had lots of fun with our Personal Baby Trainer - he got us ready for our new addition. Thank you, Cohen!
And Food.
And Food.Mmm. We endulged!

And OH! We couldn't get enough watermelon this summer! MMMMMmmmm.
Swimming.

Swimming.The water was GLORIOUS for all of us. Kalem learned to dunk under. I just loved feeling weightless.
Productive. 
Productive. We did get around to fixing some things around the house too.
Clothes-Less.
But mostly, this is how we rolled...
So far September is not prooving to be much of a season change, in fact it is hotter now than all summer! Ugh. I'm done. Seriously, can I hibernate? Wake me up when it's over.

The next few weeks are going be done before you know it. You can do this! Your beach life looks so relaxing. Kalem certainly is getting grown up. Looking forward to seeing you.

I always happy for your pictures of the beach because I know you always think of me when you are there! I know you are done...I had one August baby (in Arizona!!!) so I know. But you are almost there and the best news is that there is something so special at the end of all that 'work' you've done for 9 mo. Wish I could be there, but you will be blessed.
So fun! You are the cutest parents ever! It is modivating for the rest of us! HOpe all is well with the pregnancy. Love ya
